Referees are horrible. Not really their fault though. Management would rather enable poor refereeing than try to educate and fix it. Absolutely no accountability at any point. Would be a great place to play if it had different owners/management. Some great players and fun teams to play against. But the quality of refereeing ruins most games by allowing bad tackles that lead to injuries and the game getting out of hand.
This place used to be a nice place to play soccer and hangout. But now, the refs let the players have to much contac and they lost control of the game.
The rules change every time depends on what the reff of the game wants and take everything to personal against some teams or especific players.
We use to play here around 8 years and sadly we are taking our teams to another place. Because they want to keep the people that are fighting every game day.
USED TO BE NICE
I would give this establishment zero stars if it would let me. Fields are in awful shape the high schoolers reffing the games are extremely under trained. Rules change nearly every game as they make it up as they go. Look elsewhere for your indoor soccer experience. Over priced and the refs spend so much time messing around you get about 30 out of the 40 minutes of playing time. Their leagues are poorly managed as well. If you aren’t going here to drink cervezas forget it I promise you’ll have a better experience any where else in the metro area..
Nice facility but some of the referees really need to brush up on the rules or at least be consistent on with their foul calling. My teammate was elbowed in the face and the ref marked a regular foul. Then in the second half one of my teammates elbowed the other team the same way only they got a blue card. Just mark it the same both ways.
A great winter sports program INDOORS!
If you want to play indoor soccer in Westminster/northglenn, do NOT GO HERE AND take your money to Westminster sports center or Apex fieldhouse. This facility is very unclean, the staff are very rude when you are signing up for a team, the refs do not even watch soccer so they make the worst calls and if you don't like it they will just give you a yellow, blue, or even red card and ban you for a year just for disagreeing with the staff. Overall worst experiences ever.
The fact that they don't allow spectators yet, even children with single parents is ridiculous. Sorry I don't have a sitter. You have all that seating room to allow a number of spectators. Make them essential and stop being lazy.
Because I had so many memories here and it’s supper cool and like and I got my Pokémon cards traded for a bin of Pokémon cards because I told him my Charmander is worth 120 dollars.
